Our aim is ‘to treat each individual as if they were family’. We understand the importance of trust and respect and work closely with residents and their families to provide an excellent quality of life, supported by comfortable care home accommodation in a safe and homely environment.

Arberglen Care Home is located in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, offering a welcoming residential setting that is easily accessible for family and friends. Our location provides a calm and supportive environment while remaining well connected to Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Facilities

Arberglen offers 21 bedrooms of varying sizes, some with en-suite facilities. Rooms are arranged across the ground and first floors, with a stairlift in place to allow safe and easy movement throughout the home. All bedrooms are fitted with a nurse call system to ensure prompt assistance is always available.

Each room can be furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, bedside table, and easy chair. Residents are encouraged to bring personal belongings and furnishings to help create a familiar, comfortable space that truly feels like home.

Our home includes three welcoming communal areas: a main lounge with television, a multi-purpose room, and a dedicated sensory and quiet room. The garden is also a popular space, offering a peaceful setting for fresh air, conversation, and relaxation.

Laundry facilities are available on site, excluding dry-clean-only and hand-wash-only items.

Visitors & Family Involvement

We actively encourage family and friends to visit and remain involved in life at Arberglen. However, we always respect each resident’s wishes and privacy should they prefer quiet time or fewer visitors.
