Our Home
Our aim is ‘to treat each individual as if they were family’. We know the importance of trust and respect and work hard to communicate effectively with all parties involved to offer our residents an excellent quality of life and a safe and homely environment.
We understand that moving into a care home is a big decision and there are concerns about the ‘unknown’. This website is designed to provide you with useful information and reassurance but if we have left anything out please do not hesitate to contact us. You will find our details by clicking on the ‘Contact Us’ tab.
For anyone thinking about moving into Arberglen, the best way to decide whether we are right for you is to come and visit us. During a visit you will have the opportunity to meet and talk to other residents and staff, join us for lunch or even catch a concert – what better way to get the information you need!
Facilities
We have 21 bedrooms of varying sizes and some with en-suite facilities. Rooms are located on ground and first floor level with a stairlift to allow you to move freely from one floor to another. All rooms are fitted with Nurse Call system to allow you to summon prompt assistance.
We can provide you with a single bed, wardrobe, bedside table and easy chair. You are encouraged to bring your own possessions to develop a feeling of familiarity and belonging. Your room will be your personal space and can be decorated to your taste.
We have three communal spaces comprising of a lounge with TV, multi-purpose room and Sensory/Quiet room. Our garden is a popular place to sit and enjoy a cup of tea and conversation with others.
Laundry facilities are available on site with the exception of dry cleaning and handwash only items.
Visitors
We encourage family and friends to visit you at the home and oversee the care you are receiving, however if you do not wish to see a visitor we will respect your wishes.
